I’m much impressed with my poppies, they are the smartest flower I’ve encountered so far. When it rains, I’ve discovered, the poppy sports a hat and then turns itself into an umbrella and stays that way until the sun comes out.

I’m impressed. I’m planting more poppies at the end of the week.
