I see every flower photo as an angel sent out into the world to spread light, hope, and some love. It sounds sappy even to me, but it’s how I see my flower photos. Gardening is now a part of my soul.
This afternoon, I’ll go to the Mansion to check on the progress of the new activity room. Maria will be there conducting an art class. I think they might need some soil for the raised beds we got two weeks ago for the Memory Care residents who can bend down to plant or weed.
This afternoon, I’m going to the chiropractor to straighten me out and ease the back pain I was still feeling from falling down the stairs two weeks ago. As nasty as that was, I’m lucky I didn’t break anything or fall on my back. Nancy Burns is my chiropractor; she’ll straighten me out.
This morning, I bought 13 non-slip treads for our stairs. They are the most highly rated and safest stair treads on the market. My fall impressed me; I don’t plan for it to happen again.
Tomorrow morning. I’m going to the Easter Quaker Summer Meeting Place to help them clean it up and prepare for summer visits in this beautiful old building. I am excited about my return to Quaker Meeting; it has always been a grounding and calming place for me.
I work on my spiritual life daily in deed, meditation, and contemplation.
