Flowers To The Mansion To Keep The Flowers Coming, Please Help

by Jon Katz

Today was time for my bi-monthly trip to bring flowers to the dining tables in the Mansion and their Memory Care unit. These have become hugely popular with the residents, and Heidi at Country Products does a great job of putting twelve of these bouquets together so every dining room table will have one.

This trip cost $200, we threw in some extra flowers for color, they have come to mean too much to everybody there. We could use some flower support. Tomorrow I’m going to ask for help in supporting the Mansion’s re-imagining and renovation of their activity room. Details in the morning.  Support details are down below.

Mansion Director Kassi Gormley helped bring the flowers into the Mansion

So did Tania Woodward who first suggested the idea to me.

Flowers in my car. Heidi did a beautiful job with these bouquets, the residents were movingly grateful, this is a big deal to them.

To keep the flowers coming, I will need some support from the Army Of Good. If you can and choose to, you can send a donation via Paypal, [email protected], or via Venmo, Jon-Katz@Jon-Katz 13, or by check, Jon Katz, Mansion Fund, P.O. Box 205, Cambridge, N.Y., 12816. Thank you.

  1. Appreciated the thoughtful words and photos of tender times:
. . new tree twig growing
    . .donkey hugging
    . .aging cat sunning
    . .dog dutifully waiting
    . .snail recognizing
. . flowers blooming, delighting, and the
    naming assisting a Dylexic writer.
This all made me SMILE . . .
for I’m Dylexic too (not a writer, became
    teacher.)
