We went shopping at the food co-op today just as the staff discovered they had received four more boxes of lettuce than they could sell.

They asked if anybody had animals who might like lettuce. Maria was on that in a flash and we brought the four boxes home.

Needless to say, another food riot, and our already plump sheep and donkeys devoured the boxes in a few minutes.

Maria just opened the boxes out in the pasture and they all came running.

Our animals have had a great week. In addition to three tall green pastures, they had a ton of leaves from an apple tree and fresh bark from an apple and a maple tree. Their bellies looked pretty large.
