This is always a sweet sight for me to see, Maria blogging on the back porch. She would live and sleep outside if she could, and in the Spring, the back porch becomes the heart and soul of Bedlam Farm. It only lacks grazing donkeys. We are off on a medical day, my blood clot, my first ever, has become the subject of the day. While we’re out that way, my surgical podiatrist wants to get my feet checked.
Later.
When temps get hot in my home country, my sister, who is in her early sixties and lives in a non-airconditioned old farm, puts up a tent and sleeps outside… Not sure if you want to miss Maria for the whole night, of course… also not sure what critters come out to visit where you are, in the country… But my sister loves it. All the fresh air makes her sleep much better than in the stuffy old farmhouse!
Don’t tell her that….I’d never see her again…:)
