Outside, Bud is a terror, attacking chickens, eating snakes and moles, stalking chipmunks and squirrels. Inside, he is a kitten, always eager to cuddle or snuggle up.
This week, I had a severe allergic reaction to something – don’t know what – and I was a wreck, doped up on antihistamines and cortisone shots.
I took a nap in the afternoon, I was so drowsy, and Bud hopped up in my lap. We both went to sleep, he snuggled up under my hand and we napped together. It was a sweet Dog Love moment. Maria came into the living room and saw us sleeping, and took this photo.
When I woke up, he was still there.
