There’s a new love in my life, the Leica Q2 I have been negotiating for days is here, and I have been out taking photos with it for the last hour.
I’m just getting to look at some, and this camera will do some beautiful work and take my photography – and hopefully your pleasure – to the next level.
I am grateful to the lovely photographer – he is also a college professor who agreed to generous terms. It wasn’t free, but I could afford to buy it and pay for it for over a year with no interest.
Very fair. It is worth every penny. I never expected to have two cameras like this and will take fine pictures with it.
This means I have more to learn, but I am eager to learn it. And willing. It looks brand new, there isn’t a scratch or nick on it. This man is not only nice, he takes great care of his equipment.
I’m doing a Photo Journal this evening, and I’ll share some of the pictures with you as soon as I cook dinner. I ordered a small pizza from a local restaurant and am adding almond flakes, pear slices, and kale.
We’re adding our own grated cheese.
I am thrilled with this camera, but I have a lot to learn.
It takes digital photography to another realm; the color is fantastic, so is the detail, and there is a creamy softness to the photos that is just right for me.
Fortunately for me, the settings are the same as the Monochrome. Whew.
Hopefully, also for you. You’ll get a look tonight. More later, cooking time.
