One of the sweetest sounds I heard each day is the soft bray of the donkeys as they greet me when I step outside in the morning. There is no greater way to start the day that I know of.

Sure, they want a treat, but there is also a lot of love and affection in them, I feel it every day. They are saying good morning in their special way and wishing me a good day, and asking me to scratch their necks for them.
