It is almost Spring, and we’re acting like its Spring. Maria and I went out into the yard with the dogs and sat out in the sun.

It was chilly but beautiful. Maria closed her eyes to rest, and I got up with the Leica to take some photos. Zinnia and Fate took their cues from us and settled down.

I loved this rare scene, it is unusual for Maria and I and the dogs to be still together outside, especially in March. Snow is predicted for next week, but we’re taking the sun and the view when we can.

This is one of those scenes that makes me remember why I love our farm. It is a place of peace and love.
