Have I bored you writing about how much I love being married to an artist? Probably, but it is a regular wonder to me.
Today, while I was writing (she is not habitually domestic), she showed up in my studio with an artistic, beautifully composed veggie snack, which will be my lunch.
You have to pay attention to the colors and the arrangement to appreciate its wonder.
Notice the string bean carefully bent over to give a center to the snack, the colors carefully arranged, carrots for red, the white cauliflower buds for lunch, red pepper for effect and balance.
It tastes good, fills me up, has almost no calories, and I can eat as much as I want.
I was reluctant to eat it; I wondered if it shouldn’t be hanging on the wall. Maria is always an artist; she is always aware of color and composition. I did eat it all, and it tastes good as well. Thanks, Maria, you are the best.
