This photo was a mistake. I was trying to bring out the color of Fate’s eyes but instead darkened the background. Fate was sleeping on Zinnia’s bed and staring at me, as she often does these days when I have a camera.

Her face really popped up in the image.

I have no doubt any longer that she loves to pose for the camera now, she gets it. Maria loved the photo and said it was striking, I didn’t quite get it. But it did grow on me, and I’m sharing. Fate is a photographer’s treasure.
