Our barn cats Flo and Minnie have come out of the basement as Spring approaches and are out hunting again and sleeping on the back porch.

They are outside until December or next January, hunting moles, and mice.

Nights and mornings are still quite cold, Minnie and Flo – who never used to get along – have worked out a truce for cold weather. Curl up in the wooden bed box Maria has fashioned for them and keep one another warm.
