I call them the Bathroom Greeting Committee. Every morning, when I come out of the shower, a committee welcomes me to greet me and usher me to the snack drawer.

I’m sure the daily morning treat has nothing to do with it; Maria always shouts that I have some fans waiting for me when I come out of the shower.

I always walk to the snack drawer and give one to each dog – Bud first, Zinnia second, Fate third. I make them all wait 30 seconds or so and be still.

It’s nice to be loved and at least appreciated.

This morning, Maria and I went to Glens Falls, N.Y. to meet with Chris Archibee, the Godfather and mastermind behind my blog, at Mannix Marketing.

I had many ideas for improving the blog, and Maria had some for her blog.

Chris, as usual, has some of his own. I’ll write about this more later tonight or tomorrow. I’m off to see The Batman movie this afternoon and may have something to say about it.

We had a great meeting, and I am very excited about the creative changes we talked about. I am always thinking about the blog and ways to improve it.
