For my photo editing/masking lesson yesterday, I chose to work on this photo of Robin and two others in a storm. I created a new mask, painted Robin, then added a “subtract” mask to remove the sheep and donkeys from my editing.
This took a while, I had to paint carefully – using a digital brush – around the edges of Robin and then find a color that would make him stand out but still look like a sheep.
The point here was to understand the use of the editing tools that permit me to work on one image while not changing any of the others. I learned a lot yesterday.
Robin as a blonde!
I wrestled with the color, for sure…but I just liked the way it popped out…I didn’t find a better one…but it is funny to think of robin as a blonde…
I think you should keep searching for a color–to me, Robin looks like a golden calf, not a sheep.
You could well be right, Sarah, but I like it…That’s the thing I most love about creativity…I’m the one who counts…nothing like it. Golden Calf? I love it..
