I’ve often said that dogs become what we need them to evolve and get the dog we need.
Today, I struggled with the Macro (close-up) setting in the Leica, which doesn’t have a zoom lens (it only has one lens), and I was pointing at the footstool in front of me.
I was having trouble figuring out the settings.
Suddenly, Bud popped in the viewfinder only inches from the camera. I hit the shutter, and the photo was great. I found the setting that would work when the camera was on auto-focus.
I can’t claim to know what was in Bud’s head, but I have noticed that he and Fate have started to love the camera and seem almost to be posing for it. Zinnia has always been a ham; it’s not something she needs to learn.
Thanks, Bud; I’ve got the setting now.
Hurray! We found cauliflower pitzza bases at our local good foods Co-Op. We are not anti-gluten fiends so we’ll see how it tastes today–using your fillings recipe.
…and the pizza tasted really good. I don’t think we’ll buy the cauliflower base again, after we have eaten the second one in the box –too many calories compared with my home made ones and too crisp, like a British cream cracker, but it tasted fine, especially with your recipe for toppings.
Aweeeeee. So sweet. Dogs are the best, aren’t they? I love his squishy face. Keep up the good work.
I lost my blue merle female Sheltie Patch, last Friday. She was 13, and had kidney failure. Hard to say good-bye, but she was so sick and was not going to rally. She’s in doggy heaven, well and young again. Her littermate Fanny is doing well, thus far. Sure hope she doesn’t decide to join her sister, when beings spend a lifetime with a mate or sibling, often they pass in close proximity. Not ready to lose another one. So, now there are 2 open crates waiting for another rescue who nees a home and lots of smoochs. Cannot believe its been a year since I lost Wyn and Tag. Will be interesting to see who God sends to us next.
Give Bud a big smoochy hug for us.
