This winter, we rebelled a bit. We are people of color and light, and so there are now close to 100 plants gracing every single window pane in the house and many tables and dresser tops.
Every time I go to the supermarket, I bring home another one. Mari and her friends are constantly trading theirs. The windowsill gallery is now a succulent and air plant gallery.
We didn’t have Spring, so we brought it inside. In the coming days, I’ll be sharing some photos of the different plant-based windows. It’s addictive.
Succulents are addictive Jon! I never knew about air plants till I read about them in your blog; so of course I had to purchase a few. I have plants at home and at work. My family tells me enough is enough now no more plants.
I forgot to say how colorful your succulents are and look forward to seeing your other windows with plants in them.
Jon, you and Maria have many colorful flower pots and containers but want to share with you about some pots that are on Amazon. I ordered four small pots: one is a snail, elephant, a turtle and the fourth one was taken by someone at the library:( But when I saw the snail, I thought of Maria and how much she loves snails and thought that would be a perfect pot for her. Maybe she has one already but thought I would let you know.
I love having plants around me. I am constantly rooting cuttings or starting new plants from seeds. They make my rooms come alive.
