Emily Gold put this wonderful new collage up on her blog (she is offering a new schedule of collage and art classes online) and I rushed to buy it.

She said no, she has other things in mind for it. This has happened before with Emily, some artists want to sell everything they make, some are moody and eccentric about it.

I’ve been married to Maria for ten years now and have known her for two more. I have a Master’s Degree in the stubbornness of artists and their quirky and willful ways.

I have been repeatedly told by no less an authority than my wife, that writers in general, and me in particular, are far worse when it comes to stubbornness and quirkiness.

This may not be an argument I want to push.
