Some photos lend itself to color, some to black and white, some to a mix of each. I am slowly acquiring the ability to tell the difference.
Today, out on my afternoon Leica patrol (the storms are keeping me close to the farmhouse), I saw the afternoon light shine on Maria’s Schoolhouse Studio, the snow lining the roof, the roost closed because the hens won’t come out unless they see the ground.
The studio is a nearly sacred space to me, as it is the source of unending beauty and pure creativity. This photo needed to stand just where it is. I can almost feel the energy coming out of it.
There was no way to improve it
That’s beautiful!!
