We’ve poured the last pennies out of the big Piggy Bank – she is funding our planned and hoped-for four-day vacation to the ocean sometime in May or June before the summer prices hit.

We’ve got about $700 so far for our motel fund and we hope to crack $800. We can do the rest ourselves, we have a few months to get ready. We are planning to stay in a motel near the beach in New Hampshire or southern Maine.

The piggy bank is coughing up four or five years of pennies and loose change. I think the final money rolling will be after dinner tonight. The vacation looks especially good tonight, especially today as another storm has got us digging out. I’m dreaming of lobster.
