The red brick farmhouse above is one of my favorite farms. Some of the most beautiful farmhouses are made out of brick, but only the wealthier farmers could afford them, they had to be hauled in from Albany and Vermont. I thought this farmhouse lent itself to a photo painting.
The black and white background makes the brick house stand out, it’s a good use of the two photographic forms. I only wish I had more time to paint the windowsills and bring out the white wood. Otherwise, I liked the photo.
