Our animals have weathered a lot of nasty winters. This isn’t the worst one, but the last month has been pretty bad. Maria gives the sheep grain as well as nourishing second cut hay to keep them warm. A heated water bucket also helps.
Maria scatters the grain in buckets around the pasture and then gets out of the way. In this photo, they are scarfing the grain down as much as they can. Thus the energy to ride out the cold nights.
Great photos, Jon. Thank you.
Thanks Judy, I’m having a blast, I have a long way to go, but I’m inching my way there.
The best art simplifies.
With photography the photographer needs to have photographed, studied and absorbed at least 5000 photos
You’re not there yet: too much clutter, top much noise, too much circus.
No lollipop barns.
Interesting Jonathan, I’ve taken more than 60,000 photos, some good, many bad, and I am certainly not there yet, I doubt I ever will be there, whatever that is. But that doesn’t mean I’ll quit. I love it, even when I get messages from people like you. I’d love to know where you got your number, though, it seems quite small to me. You seem a tad stuffy.
NB: “photographed, studied and absorbed ”
My grandfather taught photography af BiGten university after and while working for Kodak, NatlGeog and Getty. And taught me.
Youre too thin skinned to progress as an artist i fear.
I did like the symmetrical one w nonharsh yellow house however.
