The wind roared all night, this morning, the rain turned to ice and then snow, and then the sky suddenly opened up with a patch of blue, and the sun popped out and disappeared, and the warmish temperatures plunged.
It’s odd and quixotic but beautiful. This morning another photo editing lesson with Andrew, then back to bed to get rid of my cold, which does show some signs of letting go.
I’ve got some exciting photos to learn with. Our power went out at 3 a.m.- the first time this winter – which got my sleep apnea machine to start hissing like a python. Once again, our new generator waits patiently in the barn for action. It will come.
I didn’t get back to sleep. This afternoon, I think we’ll continue our habit of pizza from a local Italian restaurant that knows how to make it. I’ll get a small plain pie and put our own vegetables on it, and I’ll eat two slices.
A modest change of place after a week of smoothies, vegetables, barley, oats, and salads. Later.
