I took this photo yesterday on my wonderful trek around the countryside in the howling winds and ice-covered fields.
I was scolded for running around in the cold, but it’s hard to explain how bundled up makes photos difficult – focusing on the camera, working the changer, changing some settings.
You have to be able to move freely. So I wear a sweater and two-layered shirts and hop in and out of the car to keep warm. It didn’t quite work, I got sick anyway, but it was worth it. Yesterday was a glorious day for me, photo-wise.
I got a good cold from running around the past few days, but it will be done in a few days, and these photos will still be there. The most dignified and beautiful barn around here is the Comfort Farm barn above; the barn is magnificent.
The old Comfort Barn has been left behind, it is in disrepair and has lost its beauty but none of its dignity.
I brought the photo into my LightRoom Editing tool this morning – it was a black and white Leica photo – and brushed the barn itself into its natural and original color – yellow.
Another photopainting. This is the first one I’ve managed to do without help. I’m getting another lesson this afternoon. Thanks for coming along on this trip.
So Sorry you caught a bad cold, Jon!! but you sure did also catch some GREAT WINTER PHOTOS!! THANK YOU!!
Thanks, Annie, it was worth it..just a cold…
That barn looks like a motel.
