The Mansion asked if we could supply chips and dips and snacks and cookies and pepperoni and crackers to the first-ever Mansion Super Bowl party, which started at 6 p.m. E.D.T.
We were happy to oblige. The Super Bowl Party committee – Claudia, William, and Peggy – was gracious enough to pose for a photo. I’m not a big Super Bowl fan myself, but a lot of people at the Mansion are.
It’s lovely to think of them all sitting in the Activity Room munching these neat snacks and watching on the big screen. And thanks once more for your support, we make a real difference at the Mansion.
GO BENGALS!!!!
Jon, it was 85 degrees in L.A. on SUNDAY and a lot of the Bengal fans said they were cancelling their return tickets home and staying here. Super Bowl was a huge HUGE event here – as you can imagine – airports ran out of room for private planes and there was a night time drone display over the city – really incredible the way they had the drones in colors of blue and gold and hovering over the city in shapes of the Lombardi trophy, etc. The revenue pouring into the city was phenomenal. That Mansion party looks pretty good too.
