We went out for breakfast to celebrate the sun. When we got home (with a giant bag of birdseed for the hungry songbirds), the donkeys were at the gate braying softly and pleadingly for more hay or grain. We both caved, I got some alfalfa treats, Maria went into the house to get some pineapple chunks, a donkey and sheep favorite.
We went into the pasture to bring then some pineapple chunks we haven’t gotten around to eating. Maria was (gently) mobbed and I came running with the Leica.
In a few minutes, they’ll start screaming for their afternoon hay.
