Zinnia and I went outside to check on the ice storm covering our house with thick ice and she was delighted, she ran out on the ice and burrowed into it and rolled in it and looked at me – hanging back on the porch, the ice was so dangerous – as if I were crazy.
She looked as if she were dog skating.
It is a joy to see a dog like that have so much fun, even when humans are shivering and scrambling and worried about their power and getting to work.
Dogs are such blessed creatures. Try calling find beauty and pleasure in everything. Be safe with all that ice.
