Last night, for the first time since Zinnia got her new bed, she was sleeping in it (or on it). This is the first time each of the three dogs was sleeping on their own beds – Fate is her small one, Bud on his throne, and Zinnia sprawled across hers.
I am hooked on watching this sleep behavior. The dogs are always in motion, always shifting positions, always learning to navigate each other in a small space. How adaptable they are.
I love the way Zinnia is sprawled out over the edge of her bed! Our 2 dogs do the same, they move around and share sleeping spaces. We humans could learn a great deal from our dogs about sharing and adaptability. Thank you for taking us readers into your home, it always brightens my day! Blessings to you, Maria, and all of the animals of Bedlam Farm!
I love this photo! 🙂
This is like watching a slow (very slow) motion version of musical chairs. But everyone’s a winner! Nobody takes a chair away between rounds! It’s as if Oprah showed up to give away cars. “You get a bed! You get a bed! You ALL get a bed!”
