I am grateful to be living in an old farmhouse (early 1800’s). I love the few old fixtures that remain, the knobs, keys, and old window locks.
The sun shining through the windows calls attention to them, and their beauty, and the simplicity and craftsmanship that goes into them. There is more artistry in the old fixtures than other is in most new homes and communities.
How fortunate to be able to see them and use them..
This is such a wonderful capture. I love photographing old doors, keyholes and keys…especially when that alligator finish is present. I am really enjoying your monochrome shots.
