We woke up to snow this morning, fine and powdery. It’s expected to go on for a few more hours, with no danger of a power outage. I walked out in the pasture with the Leica, and Lulu was waiting for me, covered in a light dusting of snow.
She likes to have a stare down with Zinnia and she usually wins.
Whenever I feel bad about the animals being out in the cold (they have shelter if they want it), I remember that donkeys and sheep are both mountain and desert animals; they are tough and resilient.
I love taking black and white photos in the snow.
I know how you feel. We put coats on our dogs when it’s just around freezing and they are fine without them. We tend to think they get as cold as we do, but they already have coats on!
