We only have natural plants in our 40-gallon fish tank (remember who I’m married to) and I bought some small and graceful ones a few weeks ago. I was surprised to see these beautiful red flowers pop up yesterday and today.

It’s a beautiful touch of Spring in January, a small thing but a welcome thing in the dark days of winter. I love having a fish tank again, it’s another world.
