I decided to do three portraits of the sun today – sunrise, dusk, sunset—three beautiful times of day, two with my Iphone Pro Max camera, one with the Leica. I’m fortunate to have them both. The photo above was taken as we fed the animals and the sun set over the horizon.
After feeding, I took Zinnia out into the pasture to throw the ball for her and give her a workout. It was dusk, and the sun was seconds away from dropping behind the hills.
This photo was taken when the sun rose over the Green Mountains Vermont, which are just a few miles from our farmhouse, which is in New York State. The Leica, as always, offers a subtle and softer view of the world.
All beautiful, but I really love the photo in your headline. That light bouncing off the backs of the sheep is just lovely.
