I’m pleased by the response I’m getting to sharing the books I’m reading; I will keep it up since I read a lot and so do many of you. Usually, I mention the book when I’m two or three chapters into it; if I don’t like it, I don’t recommend it and stop reading.

But I don’t do total reviews, I leave that for movies.

I’m already hooked on this book, which is about women, ghosts, books and bookstores, our obligations to the dead, all against the backdrop of Minneapolis and the killing of George Floyd. Louise Erdrich is one of my favorite writers and I already love this book.
