I saw Fate sitting out in the pasture yesterday, living the border collie’s dream. She isn’t convention in the way she treats here sheep, but she is very much a border collie when it comes to being with them, watching them, running with them.
Fate could – and does – sit on that hill for hours keeping an eye on her flock. It is always a beautiful thing to see.
This is a marvelous picture. It has been a while since you offered new prints of things (because of your varied interests as so well discussed in your recent post). I’m wondering whether this lovely evocative picture might be something you would consider offering? I do appreciate that you allow people to use your pictures and I will be saving this one — I haven’t done that for a long time. I’m moving this week and have been considering something special for my new apartment, and this picture might be just the ticket!
