I rushed outside (okay, no clothes but shoes) to catch with two perspectives, one in color, one black and white. Two ways to see the world. I use black and white for emotion, color for beauty and reality.

Yep. That B\W better be printed & framed. No doubt you’ll have a gallery showing soon. That one will surely get a ribbon.

RE: “I use black and white for emotion, color for beauty and reality.”
This is a thoughtful way to explain your selection. I have been considering this issue as applied to motion pictures: Were film makers thinking along your lines?
The color milestone is widely associated with 1939’s “Wizard of Oz.” Early criticisms were that color distracted from the story and was unsuited for intense dramas. By the late 1950s, production costs eased and most Hollywood productions were being shot in color. The use of B&W for movies persisted as an artistic choice.
I am a color person and usually prefer color pictures but this black and white really moves me.
Love them both. The color ones is moody and soft while the B&W is crisp and bright wakeful. Thanks for sharing.
