Maria and I went to the Adirondack Fiber Festival to meet Deb from the Vermont Fiber Mill, she had Maria’s new yarns ready, and we brought them home. They will go on sale on Maria’s Etsy Studio Page Sunday or Monday. You can see the five colors -blue, teal, rose, black, and gray – above and below.
Mara also got two bags of roving which she plans to turn into dryer balls and sell on her Etsy page. They were a huge hit last Spring.
We both get a kick out of seeing the wool from our sheep turn out evolving into a beautiful yard. You can follow the yarn on Maria’s website, fullmoonfiberart.com.
I imagine she’ll be writing about it tomorrow. She takes Saturday off.
Maria loves the yarn this year; she says the color is not like anything she has seen before. Deb is a wizard with wool.
Some people have placed orders in advance. If you have any questions or wish to have her hold some of the yarn for you, you can e-mail her at [email protected]. She’ll try. sometimes, the thread disappears right away; sometimes, it takes a few days. Last year it went in hours.
