I had to drop off some pie pans at the Miller Farm this morning; I took a couple of minutes to offer Tina some belly scratching, which she seemed to appreciate.
With my foot in a boot, dog cuddling is best done while sitting in Moise’s chair in the temporary kitchen. Best for back and belly scratching. Tina’s coat looks great; the new dog food really works for her.
Then she took off to make one of the horses back up and stay away from the pasture gate.
I immediately loved this post, and for some reason, unknown to me, I needed to deconstruct the why of that.
I love:
– you were dropping off pie pans (thoughtfulness)
– your foot was in a boot (admitting that requires humility)
– dog cuddling – (kindness)
– sitting in Moise’s chair – (others welcome you into their homes and what that says about you)
– then she took off – (realizing that while you are important to Tina, you don’t supersede her purpose, again, humility.)
Thank you.
