New Hats For William, Henry. Small Acts Of Great Kindess At The Mansion

by Jon Katz

I dropped off a large bag of clothes for large men, and it was much appreciated. The bag of clothes, including beautiful caps and hats, William and Henry asked me to give thanks for theirs; they each said they were the nicest caps they had ever worn.

Nothing feels better than to bring clothes to the people at the Mansion. These are small acts of great kindness that loom large in the lives of people with few resources.

It is difficult to convey how grateful these men were are to get these clothes – pants, sweaters, caps, and shits. William said it was like magic to receive gifts like this. It feels good. Thanks, C—.

May the light shine upon you.

  1. Hi, Jon. My husband was recently diagnosed with beginning stages of Parkinson’s disease. I was wondering, since you work with the elderly, if you have run across any good puzzle/activity books to help with brain function. I’ve looked on Amazon, where there is a huge selection with various reviews, and I can’t decide which one is best. I hope you can help whenever you have time. Thank you so much.
