New York City is having another rough time between murderous floods and rising pandemic hospitalizations. But nothing seems to really keep the city down.
Today, Robin and her parents went to Yankee Stadium to see a baseball game, and she was good enough to send me a message showing her smiling.
That is not a kid or family or city that can easily be knocked down. No matter how bad the news might get, Robin always makes me smile.
Great photo! Nothing like being at a ball game. Having experienced both the Don Mattingly and Derek Jeter days at the old stadium, now I enjoy watching the broadcast versions with my elderly parents so I can complete household chores AND catch the replays. (no long lines, no $7 hot dog…) Plus, one of the “farm” teams is nearer us, for a less expensive and seats closer-to-the-field experience. Just as fun.
