My new Leica replacement camera arrived today, there was a malfunction in the first one and B&H Photo send me a new one instantly and without any trouble. They will always have my photo business.

The camera is wonderful it went right to work for me. As always, the first photo I take with any new camera is of Maria’s face. The second is of my dog’s face.I am knocked out by the clarity and detail of this camera, a Leica monochrome Q2.

Maria’s  face show emotion and some fatigue, I think, the camera caught it. She is having a difficult week, several of our friends are extremely ill and she is trying hard to help them. Maria shows all of the emotion she is feeling in her face.

I see her worry and concern. She is always so full of smile and life. Not today.

I also took a photo of Zinnia, and the camera also captured her attentiveness and sweetness.Zinnia is always sweet, always smiling, always happy.

It’s funny, I struggled with the first Leica, but not this one. I am totally in synch with this camera, it feels like it grew right out of my hand.
