Zinnia and Bud are inseparable pals; it is wonderful to see Bud with such a loyal and caring friend after all the horrors he endured. When they are outside, Zinnia always waits for But to come into the house first.
When she is chewing a bone, she always brings it to him to also chew on it. He does the same for her. They always nap and rest head to head.
Each has shaped the other and offers love, play, and companionship. I never tire of watching this friendship and recording some images from it. Animal friendships can be wonderful and touching.
I think Zinnia helped bring Bud back to life and trust.
The two love to chase one another around the yard, Zinnia always rolls onto her back so Bud can think he knocked her down.
He changed so much after she came. When I am eating at the dining room table, these two are usually sleeping at my feet. All I had to do was point the camera out underneath the table, I couldn’t even see the shot, but I knew it was there.
Aweeee, rescue is phenomenal and touching. When you rescue a dog, he will spend the rest of his life thanking you. The bond with a rescue is much different than a non rescue. Rescue is very near and dear to my heart. I have been rescuing Shelties since 1988. 30 thus far. Fantastic to see rescue in action and thank you for being such a good role model.
