Mahlon finished the second coat of our new house color this afternoon, he brought Taylor, yet another horse with him. Taylor is calm and seven years old.

I’ll get him his final payment tomorrow and drop it off at his family’s farm on the other side of town.

He did a great job, worked hard and conscientiously. As he left he asked us several times if there is anything we don’t like – white spots or smears – we should tell him.

We only found one tiny white spot and that was before the second coat. The house was appreciative, the outside needed some love and attention.

Working with Mahlon is a pleasure, I would recommend him to anyone for anything. We’ll miss the horses hanging out in the years. The donkeys peered around the corner every once in a while but didn’t want much to do with him.
