Every time I put up some color and light, I get a wrenching e-mail from people all over the country who are suffering drought, fire, flooding, and awful heat.
So much misery, while our political system fights about vaccines and masks. They write to thank me for posting color, and I am very happy to do that, we see climate change here also, but not as crushing or devastating. Good luck to you people, to brighter days.
I wish I could put up a wish list for compassion, sanity, and good fortune. Peace to you all.
I just walked through the garden and opened my eyes, I wanted to be sure to see the things I pass every day and often don’t see at all.
I love the daises against the green
Thank you,Jon,
Peace to you also ?
Jon, we all need colour in our lives. You bring such a gift of this to your readers. Thank you. I do find your black and whites interesting a they make me look harder to sort out the image. But colour, well, I studied it at Art College, I painted in oils for ten years, now far too many years to count, working in textiles and quilts, I melt into a colour pot in my head with my cloth. I love colour. But not all colours. Orange and I don’t go together but peach and I do…silly stuff. I find your subject matters interesting, loving the countryside as I do, your visuals of nature, old farm buildings, and animals, it restores my soul at the end of the day and I can feel myself quieting down looking at your scenic pictures.

Thank you. Much appreciated in Northern Wyoming. Smoke makes for amazing colors at sunrise and sunset, the daytime is sepia tones.
