Two Sheep In The Heat

by Jon Katz

Sheep have been dealing with a head for many thousands of years. They hunker down, get low to the ground to avoid bugs, wait for dark to graze, and into an almost meditative state.

I went out to the barn as it neared 90 degrees and saw these two on either side of the pole barn wall, both were still and breathing evenly and had their heads down to the ground.
