I told Mahlon and his brother to go home. Our Amish painters work like demons and are thoughtful, courteous, and fun as well. And they cost about a fifth as much as my new Leica.
They are fun to have around.
And the house looks great.
They are also exhausted, they’ve spent days working on Moise’s barn and they need some rest. They and Pepper will be back first thing in the morning.
I told them to go sleep, I think they were planning to work through the night.
Mahlon was fascinated by our fish tank. He had never seen one. I invited him inside and showed the fish to him. I offered to buy him a simple Beta (Siamese Fighting Fish) in a bowl, he said he would love one.
We love the color, we love the first coating. It is actually better than we thought. More later. I got some beautiful photos in Moise’s barn. We’re going out to eat.
I LOVE the color! So pretty. And the flowers are absolutely gorgeous around the porch. What a blessing these men have been to paint the house for y’all.
Beautiful color. Congratulations
Love the color !!! Love the door!!
Color is calm and peaceful!
A lovely transformation – I too love the color….
agree, love the color. It’s soft, yet vibrant in its own way. Good that Maria nipped the *off* hue in the bud! It’s lovely.
Looks wonderful! You are fortunate have Amish painters who show up and work hard. Wish more people had their work ethic.
Yes, I too love the blue, and especially the contrast and favorable feng shui of the red door. Surprised the window and corner trims, and porch posts weren’t left white for border framing and showcasing of the main house color, tho.
The color is perfect. Whenever I see a picture of it, I will remember this peaceful time at Bedlam Farm.
Love it, love it, love it!
I’m loving that color, too…it’s all progressing nicely!
Oh my gosh that color is PERFECT! I LOVE it. My house colors are gray, midnight teal and raspberry and I LOVE it. I love color! Your house is colors are gorgeous.
