I sat out under the apple tree yesterday, reading a book. I loved the way the leaves framed the pasture, but there was nothing in the frame for me to shoot.
I decided to be patient. After five or six minutes, Pumpkin walked right into the center of my leaf frame and paused to graze. I thanked her for giving me the shot I wanted.
Jon, this made me think of something that George Forss wrote in his book “The Way We Were:” “I was watching and waiting for some ‘magic’ as it was, with my camera ready to take a picture…” (page 72) Pumpkin provided the magic!
I can feel the cool under the apple tree leaf canopy. Thanks!
