Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Bishop Maginn Graduating Class can’t have a prom, but they can have a special farewell banquet, which the Army of Good has graciously funded.
And they can choose a prom queen, and they did. By unanimous vote, Zinnia, the therapy dog so many of them helped me to train, was chosen Prom Queen.
I was suspicious when I saw the pink crown on the Amazon Bishop Maggin Graduation Banquet Wish List.
The list sold out in less than 24 hours, and thanks.
Today, the crown arrived at the school and Sue Silverstein confirmed that this was Zinnia’s Prom Queen Crown, she’ll wear it at the banquet on June 11. Maria and I are coming also.
I do not get a crown. I love this, and if any creature deserved an honor, it’s Zinnia, who has morphed into the perfect therapy dog. She is all sweet.
Papa is proud. Bishop Maginn is a very special place for Zinnia, she practically grew up there and her tail starts wagging the minute we enter the building.
