Chickens are busy, self-absorbed creatures, especially when the bugs and flies have returned. Once in a while, I get the feeling they are posing for me, they take up iconic positions on the farm.
Once in a while, they pause and reflect and let me come close and photograph them. Next week, we are getting two new chicks. Four is a good number.
