This afternoon, we put three bags of soil into my new raised garden bed and filled it.

We’re nearly a month away from real planting, but I’ve got three trays of seeds growing in the house – Zinnias, Basil, Cilantro.

I’m watering the plants.

This weekend, we’re assembling a small portable greenhouse where I can start more seeds growing. This small greenhouse zips up at night if there’s frost to protect the seeds from the cold.

The first indoor Zinnia seeds sprouted this morning.
