Mother And Son: Out Grazing

by Jon Katz

I think we’re just a day or so away from letting Robin and Laurie out with the other sheep.

Robin has started grazing, which is a good sign. He tried nursing on Lulu the donkey this morning, and he didn’t get killed, so that is a good sign.

The other sheep are excepting him. Liam, the big Ram (he’s a wether) in the flock, has been butting him, but Robin has learned to get out of the way.

Liam is letting him know he’s the big Ram around here. You know men.

I don’t see any reason to keep the lamb inside his stall any longer unless the weather changes. Maybe Monday.
