I heard Maria’s voice coming up through the floor vent in the bedroom, she was yelling “I hope you’re up,” and in seconds, the bedroom door burst open – I think it was closed – and her squad of canine goons was upon me.
Since I jumped out of bed, the only thing I could salvage was a picture, so I turned on the reading lamp and grabbed my Iphone. They wake me up, but there are lots of people out there who can’t wait to see a photo of them.
I am no fool, People love to see these dogs wake up, and I have to say, it pretty sweet to see how much working dogs love to work.
I am now a part of their morning routine, and dogs love routine.
I’m a little sorry to be the work, but life is what you make of it, yes? I’m beginning to think about revenge on Maria, who sleeps more than I do.
I don’t want to give anything away on the blog, but a plan is starting to crystallize. I’ll try to capture the screams.
Stay tuned.
No, no. “Vengeance is mine”, sayeth the Lord.
Yes, but revenge is mine!
I am assuming that was an April Fools comment, because who in their right mind contemplates revenge against their Sicilian Italian-heritage wife!? Especially the one who wields most of the sharp tools of the farm. Ponder at your peril; you might end up facing a Wake-up Squad upgrade of Two Donkeys! You know that Fanny and Lulu will do anything Maria asks of them. LoL
Good point Amy, she has a lot of weapons!
“Bad dogs, bad dogs…whatcha gonna do when they come for you…” 🙂
Jon, they love you!
